Simple Resx Editor goes opensource

As the title says, Simple Resx Editor is now in public domain, released under the GPL license.

You can check the code, report bugs, ask for more features and all that kind of things in the following link:

Simple Resx Editor in Google Code

I also hope to see contributors soon.

There's a new release, version 0.3, this is the changelog:
  • Multi-language UI (not using Resx files yet, but simple text files)
  • Skinnable toolbar
  • First draft of a preference pane
Download v0.3

I am using Windows Vista. When I start SRE it gives an error... I must launch it as admin to have it working. But if I try to use it in Visual Studio, there's no way...

What error?

It simply says that the program stopped. But if I run it as admin, the first start creates the .ini file... and after the file is created, running the program without being admin doesn't throw the exception. If I delete the .ini file then I have the exception again... so it is something related to the file creation, I think. Thank you...

Hey, I tried in a Vista SP2 machine and could not reproduce that problem. You could try running in debug mode to see exactly where it is.
Regards.

I have Vista and no problems here. Anyway thanks for this program, it's easy to use and having a column for each language is really useful.
